"I dont think Ive ever been so happy to see a sign with my name on it."
How often do you see a sign with your name on it??
And the view is GORGEOUS. As soon as I saw it I decided to start saving up money to visit haha. Not that it wouldn't be worth it to visit you in an ugly place, too.
I am working with Colombian refugees in Ecuador to form an artisan cooperative with the goal of exporting the goods to the US and Europe. All of the products are made by women and out of recycled or natural materials. These pictures are a sample from the groups I have met so far, and I will continue to add to the collection as I get more pictures. If you like anything you see or have any questions, send me an email and I can let you know about prices and availability.
If you want to learn more about the refugees in Ecuador, why they fled Colombian, and what life is like for them in their adoptive country, I think this is a good article http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/8593338.stm
