After two bus rides totalling 11 hours and a half hour canoe ride, I arrived to a few log cabins, which I would call home for the next 3 days. During my stay in the northern part of the Ecuadorian jungle, near the Colombian border, we took hikes, swam with piranhas and anacondas, and canoed down a tributary of the amazon to a local village where they gave demonstrations of how to make a pancake type bread out of yuca. This is a sample of the amazing wildlife we saw during some of our hikes.
